Customer reviews

"I bought the paper News in Korean textbook about two years ago, and I am now using this online video course as a refresher. I have used News in Korean to take me from TOPIK 3 to TOPIK 4, and the textbook really helped me to improve my vocabulary and grammar skills. This week I began reading a paper article in the morning and then watching a video on the same article in the evening. This video course is well-made and a useful study tool."

Christopher P.

"Great course. I love the thorough explanation of all the words and grammar. I would pay for a weekly subscription at this level if you guys at TTMIK ever decide to do something like that. 비디도를 잘 만들었어요"

  2. Hani,

I finished all the levels and i am currently studying with the courses, dramas without subtitles and anything i can put my hands on, if it’s reading or listening, and talk to my korean d? friends whom i met on hellotalk (that app is amazing ) but i came to review lessons of each level every now and then to keep in check with vocabulary and listen to dialogues, thanks ttmik for creating this website, you indeed helped me accomplish my goal, thank you so much.

  4. Pita,

Hi, just leaving a comment that the podcast posted in Spotify for Level 9 Lesson 7 is not similar to what posted in TTMIK website/soundcloud. I was confused for a few minutes but maybe you could take it down and upload the correct one, thank you

  5. RSH TT91,

    thank you

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

      감사합니다 🙂

  6. Sharon Osorno,

I got a question. All this free courses, from level 1 to level 9 correspond to what level in Korean? A1-A2 ; B1-B2 or C1-C2?

    • dilanzee,

Think the only way to know this is to work with workbooks that correspond to the levels A1-C2 and test ourselves.

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

Thanks for the inquiry. Please understand that it’s hard to compare with other level systems since we have our own independent levels (1-10). Hope this helps. 🙂

    • Thais,

I would like to know that too

  7. Laura Costa,

This is the best site IN THE WORLD (in my opinion haha)
I learned so so much here, my Korean friend told me i could not learn this language cause it’s too hard but i surprised him after 2 years with this amazing site and video’s, 감사합니다!! ^_^

감사합니다 ! 🙂 We hope you keep surprising everyone with your Korean ! ^^ 화이팅!

  8. Basia,

Finally completed all of the material… I took the time of my quarantine to start learning a new language out of boredom and here I am now. Of course I don’t remember well all of the points covered so now it’s time for revising. I want to leave here my thanks for the dear teachers – for You have done an amazing job in putting all of this together and presenting the material in a way that’s not intimidating for a beginner as well as for the more advanced learners. I will be coming here often in the future to revise and check on the next chapters. 진짜 고맙습니다 .. 사랑합니다… <3

    • Caroline Zedeck,

Wish i could say the same 😰

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

That’s great ! Glad that you’ve been studying Korean with us . 앞으로도 한국어 공부 화이팅! 감사합니다 ^^

    • Angel Guzmán,

Now that you’ve completed all the levels would you say you are good/decent at Korean?

      • Huyền Abe,

if you actually remember all the grammar in the course, you are quite good at Korean already, however, you will need to improve your vocabulary to be completely able to express yourself in Korean.

      • Maraki Abraham,

        Ya I hope so

  9. WHO LOVES BTS,

wowow congratsz today is my first day

      • Laura Costa,

        Same here!

    • Ellie Gannon,

You are doing just fine as long as you feel confident. When people are going too fast they usually wont be able to remember a lot of information from early stages such as Level 1 and 2 but as long as you remember it al(or most of it) you are doing perfectly fine. Enjoy your studies and good luck 🙂

  15. 라주,

TTMIK 에서 공부한 거 정말 재미있습니다.
이제 결구 Level9 까지 다 공부에 봤더니 한국 사람들이랑 이야기할 때 너무 너무 편하고 한국어 실력이 늘었다고 말한 사람도 많아서 정말 기분이 좋으네요
    이게 다 ttmik 덕분입니다
    감사합니다

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

주변에서 실력이 늘었다고 말해주니 기분이 정말 좋으셨겠어요! ^^ 앞으로도 좋은 강의/책 많이 만들도록 하겠습니다. 감사합니다 !

  16. Kan Kyungeun MOAENGENE,

Thank you sososososossosososososososo much. Ive been trying to learn Korean for a long time. Now im 15 and i started using your website and it really helped. I have a small request and one question . Request first, Can you mention me in any of your level 10 lesson? It would mean soo much. Now Question, what is the exact pronunciation of ㄹ? It’s really confusing. Sometimes people proununce l and sometimes r.

    • Cindy Li,

ㄹ is kinda in between the both, it’s neither r nor l.

    • emsies,

i think whenever it’s positioned before a vowel its pronounced like an r (e.g.: 사랑) and its only pronounced like an l when there are two ㄹㄹ together (e.g.: 살려고) or when its placed before a consonant (e.g.: 알가다) i’m not sure about this, but i hope it was helpful

    • Sasha,

They hv already recorded the lessons right??

      • Sasha,

        Ah no they didn’t 😂😂😂😂😂

      • Khanh,

I believe that they have a couple Level 10 lessons on the TTMIK app.

    • XxxMimi Gacha galaxyXxx,

I think when it is in the beginning it is more of an r but when it is the middle it is more of a rolled l

  17. kerolaine,

I would like to say thank you so much.

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,
