Reviews

  1. Nicholas D'Acri,

    These are very helpful! It would be awesome if there was a new series of these! It combines many situational phrases, vocabulary, breakdowns, and of course is great to hear someone speaking casually about a topic ๐Ÿ™‚ Best***

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

      Thank you so much for your feedback! We hope you continue to enjoy studying Korean with us ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Martin Ashmore,

    Iโ€™m really enjoying these lessons. My main focus is the ์ด์•ผ๊ธฐ lessons, but these lessons provide a nice short learning opportunity. I also like being able to see people talking because you can watch their mouth which helps pick up pronunciation. The explanations given for the sentences are very clear. Thanks so much TTMIK!

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

      It’s great that you take short breaks from time to time! We appreciate your nice comment. ๐Ÿ™‚ ํ•œ๊ตญ์–ด ๊ณต๋ถ€ ์ฆ๊ฒ๊ฒŒ ํ•ฉ์‹œ๋‹ค!

  3. Anushka,

    I have just 2 queries: 1 (B ํ˜• ์นœ๊ตฌ๋“ค ๊ต‰์žฅํžˆ ๋งŽ๋”๋ผ๊ณ ์š”) Here ๋งŽ๋”๋ผ๊ณ ์š” means I say itโ€™s a lot? As ๋ผ๊ณ  means to say something.
    2 : In the last sentence ๋‹ค๋ฅผ์ˆ˜์žˆ๋‹ค๊ณ  means?

    • TalkToMeInKorean Staff,

      1. ๋งŽ๋”๋ผ๊ณ ์š” is similar to ๋งŽ์€ ๊ฒƒ ๊ฐ™์•„์š”. Bํ˜• ์นœ๊ตฌ๋“ค ๊ต‰์žฅํžˆ ๋งŽ๋”๋ผ๊ณ ์š”=>I feel like(or it seems that) there are so many people whose blood type is B.
      2. (1) A์™€ B๊ฐ€ ๋‹ค๋ฅผ ์ˆ˜ ์žˆ๋‹ค๊ณ  ํ•ด์š”(ํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค)=> People say that A can be different from B.
      (2) A์™€ B๊ฐ€ ๋‹ค๋ฅผ ์ˆ˜ ์žˆ๋‹ค๊ณ  ์ƒ๊ฐํ•ด์š”(ํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค)=> I think A and B are different.

      ‘A์™€ B๊ฐ€ ๋‹ค๋ฅผ ์ˆ˜ ์žˆ๋‹ค’๊ณ  ํ•ด์š”/์ƒ๊ฐํ•ด์š”.
      It would help you better understand if you put a quotation mark right before (~๋‹ค)๊ณ . ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Luis,

    I was a satisfied customer for some years now. I was a fan of TTMIK and recommanded it a lot. I even came to the opening day of the “You are here-Cafe” and shook hands with Hyunwoo Sun. Next to books I bought several audio- and video-courses and was happy about the fact that they came with downloadable video-files, mp3-files and PDF-files (for print out). Now I bought this course to use it for my commute to work and got completely disappointed. There are NO video-files, NO mp3-files and NO PDF-files to download!
    In summary: This new TTMIK-Website is not only very very slow but it also makes offline learning impossible! What a bummer. This totally was unexpected.
    When you introduced the new homepage you never mentioned that you will remove the download options. Even you advertise it in the video: Quote: Once you purchase the course, you can watch video-lessons ANYTIME, ANYWHERE and AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANTโ€. Maybe in Korea this might be possible. But please think of lesser developed countries as well. E.G.: Good Luck trying to stream those Videos in a train in Germany. What a rip off.

    • Hyunwoo Sun,

      Dear Luis,

      Sorry about the inconvenience! When our official app is launched later this year, you will be able to download videos to your app and store files offline. Until then, we can provide you with mp3 audio files and PDF files for print out here on the site for the video courses. We’ll have these files added to the courses so that you can use them for your studies! Thanks for understanding and studying with TTMIK!! And please feel free to share with us any feedback or ideas to help us improve the site!
