Even with the covid pandemia the shipping was very fast. Those books are perfect to start learning korean, whatever your reasons are for. I am halfway of level 1 but I can already feel the progress ! I went with the standard shipping and it arrived in less time than approximated (Im in Australia). So already a PLUS. This Beginners Package is my very first purshase in starting my journey to learn Korean. And I am loving them. I found the Hangeul book easy to follow in learnng how to read and write Hangeul. I struggle a little with the sounds but I think that’s becuase of my native language being Australian English but watching Youtube videos along with the book really helps. And I find it really useful to be able to listen to the free podcasts on the website while looking at and reading the textbook and then practising further with the workbook. I am so glad I took the chance and bought this Beginners Package and even though I am only just over halfway through the textbook I am already ordering the Level 2 Textbook & Workbook.

These books are hands down the best books for beginners! Everything is explained in detail, but in a way that is very easy to comprehend. Extensive audio files that you can download also come in very handy.

Nice! I got my bundle and I’m so excited. It can be frustrating learning a new language – especially one without letters like in English. Hangeul is a completely new and challenging system but even shortly into the Hangeul book, my intense impatience is being tempered by well written material. I’m seeing progress I wasn’t expecting!
I take 15 minutes on Hangeul then 15 with the level 1 book, trading back and forth to get some spoken and written in equally. I haven’t done anything with the workbook, as I am using the reviews in the other two books right now.
Using these and the TTMIK website and downloads is giving me faith that I can do this – even with my impatient mannerisms (I’m very instant gratification oriented, ugh!).
