Standard Shipping

As of July 21, 2021, standard shipping has become available again for the following regions. The Korea Post, through which all standard shipping is sent, decided on the list with consideration of each region’s mail delivery circumstances. For regions that are not on the list, fast shipping (through DHL) is still the only available option.

Fast Shipping VS Standard Shipping

If you’d like to choose the standard shipping option, please note that it is less secure and takes longer than fast shipping. Please choose fast shipping if you want your order to arrive securely within 3-5 business days.

Standard shipping generally costs less than fast shipping, but depending on your region and depending on how many books you purchase in one order, fast shipping can get cheaper. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout, so please compare the costs before you place your order.

Delivery Period

Below is the list of regions to which standard shipping is available, divided into different shipping zones based on the distance from Korea. You can see the amount of time it usually takes for packages to arrive in each zone. Check in which zone your region is to estimate how long it will take for your order to arrive.

Q1. When will standard shipping be available again in my country?

A) Once the current COVID situation gets better, there will be more countries to which standard shipping is possible. As soon as the Korea Post announces that standard shipping has resumed to your country, we will update it on our website. In the meantime, you can get your books through the fast shipping option (through DHL).

Q2. Why does standard shipping take so long?

A) Due to a significant surge in the volume of shipments and other impacts of COVID-19, many couriers are currently experiencing delays worldwide. Delivery periods will become shorter as the situation gets better, but in the meantime, some delays are still expected. Since the delivery speed always depends on the circumstances, you may receive your package a little later or earlier than the estimated delivery date.

Q3. I haven’t received my order yet! It’s been over the estimated delivery period.

A) If you haven’t received your order past the period listed below (from your purchase date), we will consider it as a lost order. In that case, please write to us here with your order number. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Q4. I’m from one of the EU countries. How can I pay the customs fee if I choose standard shipping?

A) The customs office in your country might reach out to you directly and require you to pay the customs fee. (Each customs office has a different payment method.) Please note that if you don’t respond quickly, your order could be returned to us automatically.
